A Note from Your Webmistress

I managed to eat and stress my way into ulcers, acne, depression, lack of focus, gas (gasp!), and just generally didn't have much "oomph." It was the gas that did it, though. Let me tell you -- when humiliation enters the picture, it's much easier to say that enough is enough. For some people, that's how they feel about their weight. I could hide my growing belly pooch with my thinnish frame and the right outfits, but the gas? You just can't hide that under any amount of flattering clothing!

So, I ended up consulting with my friend Google, and the next thing you know I had GONE RAW! Overnight! Within days, my skin was clearing, I felt better than ever, my energy was through the roof, and I haven't turned back. Not to mention, the medication I had been prescribed for ADHD from childhood? THAT was history. I could focus without drugs. And let me tell you, when I tried that in college, I flunked out of the whole semester. Raw food has made miracles happen for me.

Somewhere in there, I found the job I held in marketing and development, including email marketing, to be fascinating. I started to excel (thank you, raw food, for giving me focus!). I started learning more juicy info about web design and graphic design on my own JUST to do a better job. I found real pleasure in both web design and sharing about raw food. Thus, this site was born.

I offer raw food events locally (Jacksonville, FL). They range from dinner parties to full 4-day trainings that cover everything. Whether you're interested in my classes, I still get a kick out of web design and sharing raw food with compassion and passion to anyone who is even remotely interested. So, please enjoy the information and other resources here, knowing you are a very welcome guest.

With gratitude,

Eva Rawposa

P.S. If you ever have ANY feedback on the site -- good or bad -- PLEASE share your thoughts with me. The biggest thing I've heard complaints about is removing the sound clip from the flash file... I did that! Have any thoughts on anything else? Feel free to email me about anything related to the site (even a grammatical error), usability, raw food or health. I personally respond to all emails sent to eva@uncooking101.com within 24-48 hours. Thank you!
